Disposable cotton polishing wheels. Made from ultrasoft cotton fibers that are bundled together to form a thick, latch-driven applicator for aluminum oxide and ceramic polishing pastes. Fleece-like design will not harm the surface, diminish the existing shine, damage soft tissue, or induce bleeding. It will keep the attached metal mandrel at a safe distance from the composite or ceramic surface. Polishing paste actually becomes incorporated within the fibers of the wheel to minimize splatter; it remains on the surface of the restoration, hard-to-access occlusal topography, and interproximal surfaces for a quick and efficient final polishing step.
