Composed of approximately an 80% carbonate phosphate-based mineral with a carbonate apatite structure, and combined with 20% type-I achilles bovine-tendon collagen. Mineral is physically and chemically comparable to the mineralized matrix of human bone. Formation and ingrowth of new bone at the implantation site of REGENAFILL is favored, due to its trabecular architecture, interconnecting macro- and micropores with its natural consistency. Collagen facilitates handling of bone mineral particles and acts to minimize migration of granules. Intended for use in dental surgery.
