As you reopen your practice, there's much to be done to ensure your practice runs safely and efficiently. We understand safeguarding the health of your patients and staff is at the forefront of your mind. Plus, you'll want to ensure your equipment and technology is ready when you are. We have solutions to fit your needs and guide you through this time.
Please note that the below guidance is subject to change, as data concerning the virus is continually changing, and accordingly it is important for the user to review guidance from relevant federal, state, and local government authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), for up-to-date safety and infection control recommendations.
The advice and checklists contained on our website are not a complete list of guidelines that may be applicable to your practice. The content on this page is not intended to replace your thorough assessment of the most recent OSHA, CDC and your State guidelines for COVID-19 or comprehensive training for your staff on precautions to reduce risk of COVID-19 transmission.
Learn from Daniel Molina, Zone Operations Manager from Henry Schein, as he shares instructional "How To" videos for preparing your equipment and technology for the reopening of your practice after an extended closure. Daniel walks through each area of your office and provides guidance on how to properly restart and power on your equipment. Areas of equipment are: maintenance room, CAD/CAM, operatories, technology, lab, sterilization, imaging; along with a detailed guide to restarting your treatment rooms.
We recommend performing equipment start up tasks up to 10 days in advance of reopening your practice. Performing these tasks in advance of day one operations will ensure there is enough time to schedule an appointment with a Henry Schein service technician should an issue arise when restarting the equipment.
