Team Brasseler, the reigning champions of the We Care Global Challenge (a program that supported people fighting cancer and their caregivers in 2023) recently delivered 210 cancer patient kits and 210 patient caregiver kits to the American Cancer Society (ACS) Hope Lodge in Charleston, South Carolina. This is only a small fraction of the 1,385 kits the team built and the 25,000+ kits that Team Schein Members built together during the Challenge in 2023. ACS Hope Lodges, with 30+ locations across the U.S., help to provide a home away from home for people facing cancer and their caregivers when treatment is far away, and we know that these kits will go a long way in providing a little bit of comfort to families during difficult times.
