Simple method for obtaining autogenous bone designed to filter and retain particles of bone that have been suctioned along with standard irrigation during surgery. The graft may be obtained for almost any bone site. Collected graft material can be used either in a wet amorphous form or a compressed osseous particulate. The drier particulate, which is easier to handle, can be obtained by compressing the collected material in a screen with the titanium plunger. This forces out moisture through the screen.
