PRODUCT INFORMATION

Easy to Use:

  • Procedure takes 5 minutes
  • Formation of translucent, white mask allows for easy observation of uniform application
  • Minimized patient discomfort. Mild to moderate, transitory burning and stinging lasts only a few minutes. Use of a handheld fan will help alleviate this discomfort
  • Little to no downtime for the patient
  • Recommended for use as a series of peels

Safe:

  • Since salicylic acid is self-limiting, the peel requires no neutralization
  • Increased safety compared to AHA peels
  • Side effects such as mild redness and swelling are only seen in a small percentage of patients
  • Regular acne treatment regimens can continue without interruption, however, it is advised that the patient wait a week before having any additional procedures such as microdermabrasion
  • Can be used on all Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI

KIT CONTENTS

Complete Kit:
β-LIFTx® is packaged for a successful patient experience and contains the following:

  • β-LIFTx® Product Insert
  • 2 alcohol pre-cleanse pads
  • A 0.24 fluid oz. | 7mL. vial of either 20% or 30% salicylic acid in an alcohol solution
  • Dispensing cup and applicator sponge
  • 1 tube of 0.75 oz. HydroLotion® for post-procedure skin care
    • Uniquely formulated with special petrolatum fraction to provide deep, long-lasting moisturization
    • Noncomedogenic, hypoallergenic, fragrance, and paraben-free
  • Each kit is hygienically packed as a single patient use and packed 24 per case

1. What is β-LIFTx®?
Β-LIFTx® is a formulation of salicylic acid (aka BHA or beta hydroxy acid), which is a minimally invasive chemical peel exfoliation procedure. This product was formerly known as Beta-Lift.

2. How does β-LIFTx® compare to old Beta-Lift®?
There has been no change to the original formulation. There is a difference in the box color, which formerly was gold and is now gray. There is the addition of a post procedure moisturizer and there is more acid in the vial so you can treat a larger area.

HydroLotion® is a special fractionated petrolatum product that is the final aftercare phase in the β-LIFTx® kit. It is an ideal daily facial and body moisturizer that protects skin from environmental damage as well as a post procedural moisturizer. HydroLotion® delivers the benefits of an exceptionally rich and uniquely elegant "water-in-oil" emulsion deep into the skin without greasiness, tackiness, or the use of emulsifiers, which can cause further damage to sensitive skin. HydroLotion® refreshes and hydrates skin, leaving it noticeably softer and smoother. We also stock the 8 oz. size for patient resale.
