Designed to provide 100% O2 to breathing or nonbreathing patients in an emergency situation. Can be utilized with a mask, endotracheal tube, or tracheotomy tube. Operates on a regulated O2 supply of 40–90 psig and reduces this pressure to a physiologically acceptable level with a pressure limit of 60 cm H2O (±5 cm). Lightweight, rugged, and compact.
