Type-V dental stone. Produces ultrahard dies and casts. With its optimal expansion properties, it enhances fit when used for crown-and-bridge dies and models. Has a velvety-smooth, glaze-like finish to master dies, grinds easily without chipping, and is excellent for use with nonprecious alloys.
